IMWX laser-cuts large-diameter pipe from 1 inch up to a 14-inch chuck capacity, in Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 wall. Nozzle openings, branch and penetration cuts, saddles, copes, holes and weld-prep are all cut on the machine, so heavy pipe arrives fit-and-weld ready instead of being hand-laid-out and torch-cut. Laser accuracy means pipe intersections and nozzle ports land on center and match their mating parts the first time. This capability feeds process piping, pipe racks, pressure-vessel nozzle work and any job where round stock has to be cut precisely rather than roughly.
