Markets We Serve

Industrial Applications

Heat Exchangers & Thermal Equipment

Low-pressure shell-and-tube fabrication, baffles, tube sheets, nozzle penetrations — built for industrial OEMs and process equipment manufacturers.

Pressure Vessels & Industrial Tanks

Precision-cut vessel components, nozzle ports, and shell sections. Heavy-wall capability from 1" up to 14" diameter.

Industrial OEM Components

Structural frames, weldments, precision laser-cut details, and fabricated assemblies for production OEM programs and industrial supply chains.

Heavy Structural Fabrication

Complex structural profiles and weldments for heavy industrial applications. Not ornamental — structural and mechanical fabrication only.

Aerospace & Defense Components

CAGE-coded facility (3FF30) with NAICS 336413 classification. Capable of aerospace-grade fabrication and defense procurement compliance.

Custom Industrial Fabrication

One-off prototypes to production volume. If it's made from metal and demands dimensional accuracy, we have the process and equipment to deliver.

We build what your production line can't afford to get wrong.

Industrial Machine Worx is not a job shop that takes whatever walks in the door. We focus on precision industrial fabrication where dimensional accuracy, material integrity, and repeatability are non-negotiable.

Our target customer is the industrial OEM, the process equipment builder, and the procurement team that needs a domestic, CAGE-coded fabricator with real laser capacity — not a plasma shop calling itself a laser shop.

Our History

Built for What's Next.

1972

Founded as a Family Business

Industrial Machine Worx opens in Alabama as a precision machine shop and fabrication operation — earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship and reliability across regional industrial customers.

1980s–90s

Growth Decades

Expanded capabilities into structural fabrication, stampings, and specialty metal work. Five decades of accumulated process knowledge, material behavior, and customer relationships built into the foundation.

2000s–10s

Global Pressure. Held the Line.

Outsourcing reshaped the industry and hollowed out many regional fabricators. Industrial Machine Worx navigated those headwinds while maintaining its quality standards and Alabama manufacturing roots.

2025

Transformed. Not Replaced.

Under new ownership, the facility undergoes a complete technology overhaul. The heritage and knowledge base remain. The equipment is now the most advanced fiber laser fabrication setup in the region.

53
Years of Alabama Manufacturing

Five decades of accumulated process knowledge doesn't disappear with a rebrand — it transfers. The machinists who knew this facility, the material behaviors learned through hard experience, the Alabama industrial relationships — all of it carried forward into a platform that now runs the sharpest laser technology available on the market today.
