5-Axis Tube Laser

Weld-prep bevels — cut in process.

The laser head tilts to put the bevel, chamfer or J-prep on the part as it's cut — up to 24 feet across dual machines. Joints arrive ready for full-penetration welds.

IMWX cuts weld-prep bevels directly into tube and pipe on 5-axis tube lasers — up to 24 feet, across two machines. Five-axis means the cutting head articulates: it tilts to lay a bevel, chamfer, J-prep or compound miter onto the end of a part in the same operation that cuts the profile. The joint arrives ready for a full-penetration weld with no separate beveling, grinding or setup, which removes a whole step from structural and pressure-boundary fabrication. Dual machines add throughput and redundancy, so weld-prepped members for large frames and weldments ship on schedule.

Why IMWX

Built for the build schedule.

Bevels cut in process — no separate beveling, grinding or setup step.

Articulating 5-axis head lays chamfers, J-preps and compound miters on the part.

Dual machines add throughput and redundancy so weld-prep members stay on schedule.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

The laser head articulates and tilts, so it can cut a bevel, chamfer or compound miter into a part in the same pass that cuts the profile.
